These pads are specifically made for use beneath non-penetrating roof (NPR) mounts such as the NPR6B and NPR8, eliminating the need to drill into the roof surface. Positioned under the metal frame, the pad creates a protective buffer to preserve the roof coating and minimize damage. Using these pads helps address building owner concerns and lowers the risk of roof leaks. For added security, all flat-roof NPR antenna setups should be secured with a flexible steel cable; we strongly recommend pairing with our PVTK1 tether kit to ensure maximum stability in high winds. The pad’s textured pebble-grain surface offers a durable, professional finish that prevents cutting or marking of the roof, with a thickness of approximately 0.130".
