Unlike the Commdeck, the Retrodeck does not house the cable. It uses an existing dish or antenna without lag bolt penetration through new roofing material. It is used for new dish/antenna installations where cables are not pre-wired through the attic. It can also be used to mount antennas without using a tripod, add a second dish or off-air antenna, and solar panels. It can also attach mounting brackets for awnings and weather sensing equipment. It supports dishes from 18 inches to 36 inches in size, offering exceptional strength and adjustability. It is easy to install, remove, and upgrade satellite dishes or antennas. It prevents damage to the roof/siding, and roof warranties, including workmanship, remain intact. It has a universal hole pattern that allows use with standard Dish Network, DirecTV, Wild Blue, and High-Def antennas. No cutting of shingles is required, and under-shingle application ends lag bolt penetration through the roof.
