Product information

An LNB (Low Noise Block downconverter) is the critical component mounted at the focal point of your satellite dish. The Fortec Star FSKU-2V serves as the signal receiver and frequency converter, capturing incoming Ku-band transmissions from orbit and reducing them to manageable levels for transmission through standard coaxial cable without degradation. Operating Specifications: Frequency Reception: 10.70–12.75 GHz (full Ku-band coverage) Local Oscillator Frequencies: 9.75 GHz (low band) and 10.60 GHz (high band) Noise Figure: 0.3–0.4 dB (exceptionally low noise for superior signal clarity) Feed Horn Neck: 40 mm diameter (universal fit for offset dishes) The universal design accommodates dual-band operation. Configure your receiver as follows: set LNB Type to Universal, Low Oscillator to 9750 MHz, High Oscillator to 10600 MHz, and enable 22KHz Tone on Auto mode for seamless band switching. This configuration enables reception of the complete range of Free-To-Air (FTA) satellite programming and services available across the Ku-band spectrum, making it suitable for both residential and commercial FTA applications.
