The Directv DECA Band Stop Filter (BSFR0-01) is a necessary addition for some receivers in Multi-Room Viewing. This filter, used in conjunction with the DECA System, blocks competing traffic, allowing for integration of MRV (Multi Room Viewing). Its use is required for certain receivers, such as the HR20-100, in the DIRECTV Connected home. It enables non-DECA receivers to be connected to a SWM multi-viewing room system, which requires a SWM (single wire multiswitch) system. Each receiver listed, including the H20, HR20, D12, and R16, will need a DECA unit and band stop filter.
