Product Description
The 8101-18, is the same as the 8101.01, except it comes with an 8 Pole Magnet. Most actuators built have a 6 Pole Magnet and if you replace the 6 Pole with an 8 Pole Magnet, it increases the number of pulse counts per inch of travel, allowing for more accurate positioning of the dish.
