The Directv 2" OD Standard J Mount is the most wideley used mount out of all the Directv Mounting Options.
Proper bracing is important with the latest generation DIRECTV dishes because they need precise alignment for multiple satellite locations. Directv has a tripod shaped bracing structure where the Directv 2" OD Universal J Mount is supported with support braces. Normally a long and short brace are used to secure the dish with this mount.
